Welcome to Corson's Steaks

14 Tanner St, Haddonfield, NJ 08033, United States

General Info

Located at 14 Tanner St, Haddonfield, NJ 08033, United States, Corson's Steaks is the kind of American restaurant that locals talk about with genuine affection. It’s casual, welcoming, and built around food that feels familiar yet thoughtfully made. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere leans more toward a classic neighborhood diner than a polished chain spot, which makes the experience feel comfortable and unpretentious.

The menu is straightforward but satisfying, focusing on hearty favorites that deliver every time. One of the standout choices is the Cheesesteak Hoagie, which balances tender steak, a soft roll, and just the right amount of richness without feeling heavy. It’s the kind of sandwich that keeps people coming back, especially for a quick lunch or an easy dinner. Alongside it, the Italian Pork Au Jus brings bold flavor and warmth, with juicy pork that soaks up the savory au jus beautifully.

For those craving something a little more classic and comforting, the Chicken Parm with Spinach and the Chicken Cutlet Parmesan are both solid picks. The chicken is cooked until tender, topped generously, and paired with spinach for a touch of balance that works well without overpowering the dish. These plates feel filling and familiar, like something you’d expect from a trusted local spot rather than a trendy newcomer.

No visit feels complete without a side of French Fries. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they’re simple but done right, making them an easy add-on whether you’re dining in or ordering delivery. Speaking of services, Corson’s Steaks makes things convenient with both dine-in and delivery options, accepts credit cards, and is good for kids, which adds to its appeal for families and groups.

Reviews often highlight consistency, which is something this location seems to take seriously. Whether you’re stopping by after work, grabbing food with family, or ordering in for a relaxed night at home, the experience stays reliable. The combination of approachable food, a comfortable setting, and practical services makes this location feel like a dependable part of the local dining scene rather than just another restaurant on the map.

What customers say?

“ Don't know why this place gets hate. Cheesesteaks are great. The seeded bread is fantastic and fresh. The thin sliced ribeye to cooper sharp cheese ratio is spot on. However, the meat was a little dry. The cheesesteaks and the fries come out piping hot. Fries salted perfectly. Go check this place out you wont be disappointed! ”

“ We were visiting friends in Haddonfield this weekend and stopped by Corson’s for cheesesteaks — and wow, they were fantastic! Perfectly grilled steak, melted cheese, fresh roll — absolutely delicious from first bite to last. The staff was friendly, the portions generous, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. If you’re anywhere near Haddonfield, do yourself a favor and grab a cheesesteak from Corson’s — it’s easily one of the best we’ve ever had! ”

“ Sandwich shop with house made seeded and non seeded rolls, which were delicious. Thick cut cheesesteak meat with perfectly cooked fried onions. Definitely a different style than the normal cheesesteak which is well chopped up. Meatball parm was tasty as well, could have used a littlebit more sauce. The fries weren't par boiled or fried enough because they weren't cooked enough and were still crispy inside. ”

“ Bit of a cheesesteak photo shoot with this one, but this one was really good, one of the best I’ve had in a while. We all know a great cheesesteak starts with the bread and this one had it. Soft and pillowy inside and a nice crust on the outside, not too hard though, just right. I had it with fried onions and a cooper sharp/provolone cheese combo (my choice). The meat was seasoned perfectly, no fat/gristle to deal with, this one really hit the spot. If you’ve never been here, I highly recommend checking them out. If you have been there before, check ‘em out again sometime soon as this is a new style bread they are moving towards and it is a home run in my book. ”

“ Different Cheesesteak #1207. I got a cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms. I had high hopes for this place. Their sign says they have a gourmet food truck and gourmet food. I get mushrooms on my cheesesteak because good mushrooms complement good steak. I liked the meat. It was on a good roll. There was a very good amount of cheese. It was mixed well with the meat. The fried onions and mushrooms were on top of the cheesesteak. I am not a fan of that. I don’t think the mushrooms lived up to their gourmet billing. I liked the customer table/counter enough to take a picture. ”
